Since 2004, I've dedicated my career to education. As a teacher with experience in social work, a parent, and a community leader, I believe in bringing people together to create positive change. I'm running to be a voice for stronger schools and stronger communities.

Why I'm running
I'm running for School Board Trustee because I believe our students deserve safe, stable schools—and our teachers and support staff deserve the support they need to succeed.
For more than a decade, I've worked in education. But my commitment to this community goes beyond the classroom.
I've spent years building community, bringing people together and creating opportunities for people to find support, connection and a better path forward.
I know what it takes to turn an idea into action.
My three priorities
Safe. Stable. Strong Schools.
SAFE
Every student and staff member deserves to feel safe, respected and supported at school. We need to take school safety seriously—not just when something goes wrong, but every day.
STABLE
Staff stability matters. We need to understand why teachers and education assistants are leaving and work toward solutions that help great people stay in our schools. Stable schools create stronger relationships, better continuity and better outcomes for students.
STRONG
Strong schools require strong relationships. That means better communication with families, supporting educators and support staff, listening to our communities and making responsible decisions that put students first.

Why is he running?
"I'm not running for a title. I'm running because our kids only get one education." Mike believes we need a School Board that listens to the people who work in our schools, listens to families and keeps students at the centre of every decision.
